TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. INTRODUCTION

 

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the agreement between you and RISE (“we,” “our,” “us,” or “RISE”), a WeAreTechGlobal brand, relating to the use of our corporate wellness platform.

  1. DEFINITIONS

 

2.1 “Platform” refers to the RISE corporate wellness platform, including web applications, mobile applications, and related services.

2.2 “User” refers to any individual granted access to the Platform through a corporate subscription.

2.3 “Corporate Client” refers to the organization purchasing the Platform subscription for their employees.

2.4 “Subscription” refers to the paid access to the Platform.

 

  1. ACCEPTANCE AND PLATFORM ACCESS

 

3.1 By accessing or using the Platform, you accept these Terms.

3.2 Corporate Clients must ensure all Users are made aware of these Terms.

3.3 Users must be 18 years or older to use the Platform.

3.4 Each User must create an individual account; sharing access is prohibited.

 

  1. SUBSCRIPTION AND PAYMENT

 

4.1 Subscription Terms:

  • Annual or monthly subscriptions available
  • Payment required before access activation
  • Pricing as agreed in Corporate Client contract

 

4.2 Currency:

  • UK clients billed in GBP (British Pounds Sterling)
  • US clients billed in USD (United States Dollars)
  • Other territories as specified in contract

 

4.3 Payment Methods:

  • Bank transfer (BACS, CHAPS, Wire Transfer)
  • Credit/Debit card
  • Other methods as agreed in writing

 

  1. CANCELLATION AND TERMINATION

 

5.1 Annual Subscriptions:

  • Written notice required minimum 30 days before renewal date
  • Automatic renewal without notice
  • No mid-term cancellations unless agreed in writing
  • Early termination fee: 40% of remaining contract value

 

5.2 Monthly Subscriptions:

  • Notice required by 1st of month for end-of-month cancellation
  • No partial month refunds

 

5.3 Account Termination:

  • RISE reserves the right to terminate accounts for Terms violation
  • Corporate Client responsible for User compliance

 

  1. PLATFORM USAGE

 

6.1 Technical Requirements:

  • Minimum internet speed: 10 Mbps
  • Supported browsers: Current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge
  • Mobile devices: iOS 14+ or Android 8+

 

6.2 Service Availability:

  • 99.5% uptime guarantee excluding maintenance
  • Scheduled maintenance communicated in advance
  • Emergency maintenance as required

 

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

 

7.1 All Platform content and features are protected by copyright

7.2 Corporate Clients may not reverse engineer or copy the Platform

7.3 RISE branding and marks are property of WeAreTechGlobal

 

  1. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY

 

8.1 Data processing complies with:

  • UK GDPR
  • EU GDPR
  • US State Privacy Laws

9.1 Platform Features:

  • Fitness and wellness content
  • Health tracking capabilities
  • Corporate wellness challenges
  • Event management

9.2 Health Disclaimer:

  • Content provided for general wellness purposes
  • Not a substitute for professional medical advice
  • Users should consult healthcare providers before starting any exercise program

 

  1. LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMERS

 

10.1 Platform provided “as is” without warranties

10.2 RISE not liable for User-generated content

10.3 Users responsible for safe exercise practice

10.4 Maximum liability limited to subscription fees paid

 

  1. JURISDICTION AND DISPUTES

 

11.1 UK Clients:

  • Governed by English law
  • Courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction

 

11.2 US Clients:

  • State laws apply based on location
  • Federal laws where applicable

 

  1. MODIFICATIONS

 

12.1 RISE may modify these Terms with 30 days notice

12.2 Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes

12.3 Material changes require Corporate Client consent

  1. FORCE MAJEURE

 

14.1 Neither party liable for circumstances beyond reasonable control

14.2 Includes but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government actions
  • Network failures
  • Public health emergencies

 

  1. SEVERABILITY

 

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
